Lockdown practice notice

At Dene Magna we take our safeguarding duties very seriously, even for those events which are very unlikely to occur. As part of this process, we have introduced a new procedure called "Lockdown".

Students will be bringing home a letter today (20/11/18) which details this procedure in more depth, a copy of which is attached below for your convenience. There will be a practice during P5 on Friday (23 November).

Should a real Lockdown ever occur, we would text parents/carers to inform them of the situation. It is, therefore, extremely important that we have your most recent contact number to ensure that we can keep you up to date with the situation and confirm when the Lockdown had ceased. For this reason, please could you let reception know if your number changes (even though we will not be contacting you this time, as it will only be a practice run, hopefully you can see the importance of always keeping us up to date with your most recent contact numbers).

Thank you
