Junior Class of the South West Chef Competition

Rosie Pritchard in Year 10, recently took part in the Gloucestershire heat of the Junior South West Chef competition held at Gloucester College in Cheltenham.

Competitors had to prepare a main course dish using local ingredients. Rosie chose to make her own thai vegetable curry, blending the spices and preparing locally grown vegetables. Although Rosie’s dish was not selected to go through to the final, Rosie won the opportunity to work for a day with top chef David Everitt-Matthias of Le Champignon Sauvage, a 2 Michelin Star restaurant in Cheltenham.

Well done Rosie!
